We Stand In Sorrow

We stand in sorrow and solidarity with members of the First Baptist Church of Sutherland TX, their family, and friends. We mourn the lives too soon gone, the injuries to the community on so many levels, and that their world feels less safe. We are troubled by the failures of systems that allowed someone so ill to have legal access to weapons, yet not enough access to mental health treatment. It is disheartening to be writing a sincere message of support too soon and again because of an act of extreme violence against civilians. We wish for those affected by the tragedy in Sutherland, Texas to experience hope again, as we have found, aided by the outpouring of concern and kindness extended to them.

With Deepest Sympathies,
September 11th Families For Peaceful Tomorrows
