We proudly make this film available to our members and supporters in celebration of our 2oth Birthday.
Mission Joy— Finding Happiness in Troubled Times is a documentary with unprecedented access to the unlikely friendship of two international icons who transcend religion: His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu.
In their final joint mission, these self-described mischievous brothers give a master class in how to live with joy in the face of challenge. They offer neuroscience-backed wisdom to help each of us live with more joy, despite circumstances. Their life stories remind us that joy is an inside job, that joy and pain are inseparable, and that deep connection is one of the secrets to joy. They are opposites in many ways, yet their friendship shows us that our shared humanity is bigger than our differences. Watch the trailer
