Twenty Years Of Peace Advocacy

SEPTEMBER 19: Mark your calendars! September Eleventh Families for Peaceful Tomorrows will be honored by the Al Filipov Peace & Justice Forum for our ongoing work on Sunday, September 19 at 5pm. One of our co-founders and Guantánamo Committee chair, Colleen Kelly, will be representing us at the event. More details to follow.

The 20 Years Later Peace and Justice Film Festival will run from Tuesday, September 7 through Sunday, September 12th. Each film will be accessible for 1-3 days, depending on rights. The festival will feature virtual events, with special guests such as live panels with Peaceful Tomorrows members, first responders and the “real” Mauritanian, Mohamedou Slahi.
We recently were able to obtain the rights to screen the soon to be released film: No Responders Left Behind. The film follows 9/11 social activists Jon Stewart and John Feal as they take on the U.S. government to ensure Health and Compensation for thousands of ailing First Responders who are dying from toxins released at Ground Zero.

We offer recorded webinars exploring issues of peace, justice, reconciliation, trauma and lessons we’ve learned after being personally affected by 9/11. CLICK HERE to access both webinars and discussion guides.
