Statement from September 11th Families for Peaceful Tomorrows regarding the terror bombings in London, July 7th, 2005

9-11 families remember all too well the feelings of horror, shock, and sorrow almost four years ago, when our nation was the target of fanatic terrorists. Our thoughts and prayers today are with all the families who will be affected by the murderous bombings in London. We also commend the courage and compassion of the people of London, who bravely responded to the tragedy unfolding in their great city this morning.

Violence solves nothing, except to create more violence. September 11th Families for Peaceful Tomorrows will continue to demand that those who perpetrate such crimes be brought to justice, and work for a day when violence is seen for what it really is; a useless and destructive weapon of the desperate.
