March 2011

We got together! During our Members Meeting we reviewed PT’s mission and goals, arrived at a common understanding and agreement regarding our decision making processes and reached accord on ‘decision trees’ that respect our traditional consensus building methods while allowing for rapid response by the Steering Committee (SC) when such action is necessary.

Our ‘Rule of Law’ campaign co-chairs Colleen Kelly and David Potorti were able to be present, as was Peter Gudaitis, who has accepted the position of campaign coordinator. The names of those able to attend are listed below, and be assured all of you were in our thoughts as we discussed the opportunities and challenges facing PT in the coming months.

We will continue to keep you informed about what goes on via facebook. To date we have almost 3,000 friends!

If you need to send an e-mail to the SC, you can do so as a subscriber to PT-Discussion. When addressing the SC, be sure to use the e-mail by which you are subscribed to the discussion list.

You are invited to visit 911 Stories: Our Voices, Our Choices and to participate by adding your own story. Once you are ready to submit your contribution, please contact David Potorti at dpotort@gmail.com.

Anne Mulderry resigned from the SC as of April 1 and continues to serve as PT’s Project Director. PT thanks her for all her hard work and her continuing dedication. Paul Arpaia has joined the SC starting April 1. The SC looks foward to working with Paul during this exciting time.

Please contact our Project Coordinator, Katharina Feil, by replying to this e-mail if you have any suggestions, questions or concerns.

The following members attended the meeting on March 26: Paul Arpaia, Robyn Bernstein, Terry Greene, James Hopper, Colleen Kelly, Rita Lasar, Andrea LeBlanc, John Leinung, Anne Mulderry, David Potorti, Phyllis Rodriguez, Bruce Wallace, Gloria & Ken Williams.
