PT member John Leinung appeared on WBAI’s “Heart of Mind” with Rick Ulfik, Founder and Director of We, The World on Thursday, June 12, to speak about PT’s work with LAONF, the Iraqi network of 42 organizations, trade unions and associations committed to using non-violent means to end the sectarian violence and bring peace and stability to Iraq.
The broadcast marked the start of a three month countdown to the 5th annual observance of 11 Days of Global Unity, September 11 – 12, which will culminate in the 27th annual observance of the International Day of Peace, September 21st.
