PT Afghanistan Report Recommended by Albany Times Union Blog “Afghanistan Reader”

The Peaceful Tomorrows report, "Afghanistan: Ending a Failed Military Strategy" was cited in the Albany Times Union‘s blog "Afghanistan Reader" by Sara McCain, on January 28, 2009:

"…it contrasts with another report published in November 2008 by the September Eleventh Families for Peaceful Tomorrow, Afghanistan: Ending a Failed Military Strategy.  This is a thoughtful work, whether or not you agree with its central concept that military forces (other than the U.N.) should not play a part in establishing a secure Afghanistan.  In addition, it has an excellent bibliography of both fiction and non-fiction about Afghanistan."

The blog cited a number of sources that the author found useful in "improve[ing] both my factual knowledge about and my understanding of recent events in this part of the world. This posting is about some of the sources I have tried and recommend."
