AUGUST 2017

We support this global movement to end all wars!

August 6: Commemorating Hiroshima, PT member Robyn Donati wrote: “We hold you in our hearts and keep you in our thoughts at this time of commemoration of the atomic bomb attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. We will not forget the horrors experienced by the Japanese on those days, or the long lasting effects of the attacks on the Japanese people. Your hope is our hope – never again for any of earths’ people to experience another nuclear bomb, and for total nuclear non-proliferation in our time. Together may we make this a reality. #hiroshima”

Support Immigrants! State legislators have told our members that our message of support for immigrants can be vital in moving forward supportive policies and legislation. Our talks at rallies, testimony, and media have emphasized the importance of real security over superficial measures based merely on fear and discrimination. If you are interested in supporting policies in your region, contact the office.

A NEW PAGE! We have worked hard to create the new and improved Guantánamo page on our website. The page also includes a wonderfully insightful report by Colleen Kelly about her travels to Guantánamo. Take a look!
