PT MEMBERS MEET AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL

Amnesty International USA met in Washington, DC and two of our members, Julia Rodriguez and Terry Rockefeller, attended to give presentations. CLICK HERE to read Terry’s speech.

IN OUR SON’S NAME AIRS ON PBS

Public television broadcasts of In Our Son’s Name during the month of September was impressive! With 1,389 telecasts throughout 43 states and 138 markets, the film did very well. This is 80% of the U.S. market and extends to airings in other countries. The agreement with all those public TV stations is that they can air the film again over the next two years. PT MEMBERS MEET AT PEACE CONFERENCE

Reclaiming Our Democracy is the title of a conference held on September 15 and 16, 2016 in Richmond, VA. PT member, Talat Hamdani, attended and delivered her speech to an audience of 155 people. SC member, Don Charlebois, had a chance to attend as well.

PT’s FIRST COMMUNITY CONNECTION CALL

Come Together! Join Peaceful Tomorrows’ members on Thursday evening, November 3rd for our first Community Connection Call at 8pm EST/ 5pm PST. This phone gathering offers an opportunity for as many PTers as possible to connect – no matter where you are – share about yourself and hear from other members, maybe even a member that you’ve never met before.

All donations received by October 31, 2016 will be matched (up to $20,000).
