August 6 will mark A-Bomb Remembrance Day. If you’d like to make a peace lantern you will need to send it to the PT office by July 18. Here is how it’s done: take a 12″ by 12″ paper (scrapbook paper is ideal), cut in half to form two 6 x 12 in. strips. Attach the two strips together to form a 24 in. strip. Decorate as you like. Fold paper to form four 6×6 in. panels. Attach the last side together on the inside with tape. Flatten the cube out, place in an envelope and mail to office.
