OUR WORK:

#Enough: We fight gunviolence! Many of us were at the March For Our Lives on March 24. From Paris to Boston, from New York City, Philadelphia to San Francisco, PTers supported the youth. #Enough. CLICK HERE to read our statement.

April 3: PTer, Talat Hamdani met with Suffolk County Executive, Steve Bellone, as part of #LoveAMuslim Day. Events are being organized to counter hateful Islamophobia. Mr. Bellone sent a message of peace and diversity of America.

April 11 @ Hofstra University: The film In Our Son’s Name can be a wonderful tool to tell the world about the lessons learned from the tragedy our member have endured. We have screened the film on college campuses, in synagogues and churches nationwide. You too can make it happen in your local community. Ask us how we can help. Report from Guantanamo: CLICK HERE for Colleen’s latest report from her time at the Military Commission’s pretrial hearings February 26 – March 2, 2018. Issues addressed include firing of the Convening Authority and changes in prosecution guidance regarding CIA black sites and personnel.
