PT Peace Campaigns

Afghanistan: PT made a donation to support The Duvet Project, which is instrumental in getting comforters to destitute families in Kabul. The project is led by the Afghan Peace Volunteers and it gives women an opportunity to earn living wages for sewing duvets. Funds for the project go towards the supplies and sewing of the duvets.
Education: Peaceful Tomorrows is listed on the Voices Compassionate Education website as a partner organization. CLICK HERE to find useful educational resources that include the September 2011 Peaceful Tomorrows issue of The Change Agent, created by World Education in collaboration with PT.
From Our Donors
Amy Atlee, Director of Community Service at The Masters School, a private school in Dobbs Ferry, NY writes:
“On Fridays we hold a ‘jeans day,’ when the students pay a dollar for the privilege of wearing blue jeans to school for the day. The money raised is donated to a charity that the students and faculty select. Once again, I am pleased to enclose a check for Peaceful Tomorrows. We hope this donation will help your members, united by the loss of a loved one on 9/11, continue to turn their grief into action for peace.”
Thank you to all Master School students and faculty!
