9/11 Anniversary Story: Talat Hamdani

This is a feature/news story on a Muslim American family who lost their son during the 9/11 attacks. The US government and media had suspected he was a “terrorist” when he did not return home on that 9/11 morning. He was later redeemed as a “hero”, specifically being mentioned in the USA Patriot Act. Interviews with Talat Hamdani (the boy’s mother – Salman), Imam Shamsi Ali (Islamic Cultural Center of NY), and Clarence (an alleged Vietnam War Veteran).
