9/11 activist speaks out at City Council

For resident Terry Greene, whose brother, Donald, was killed aboard United Flight 93, silence is not the answer.

Instead of the usual moment of silence in remembrance, Greene stood before the City Council Monday night and spoke about her cause, September 11th Families for Peaceful Tomorrows, on Donald’s behalf.

"I am privileged and comforted to live in a city which has used its voice with strength and eloquence to speak out to our community," said Greene.

Greene has joined with 9/11 families nationwide to promote local outreach activities dedicated to peaceful conflict resolution.
