Ten years after 11 September, the Italian Peace Roundtable and September 11th Families for Peaceful Tomorrows are going to Kabul

The Italian-and-American delegation will travel to Kabul from August 31 to September 5, 2011 to meet Afghan families of the victims of terrorism and war and the representatives of Afghan civil and international organizations working in the country.

September 11th Families for Peaceful Tomorrows has always believed violence should be met with nonviolence, terror should be confronted with courage, and grief could be fashioned into action for peace. We said this in the days and months after 9-11, and we stand by our convictions today.

Peaceful Tomorrows receives no money from 9/11 charities or disbursements. We depend entirely on individual and foundation grants to continue our work. More...
